Privacy policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026

This policy explains how we handle your personal data on delusionalfoundersclub.com, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spain's Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD). The short version: we only have your email if you give it to us, we only use it to write to you, and you can leave whenever you want.

1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What data we collect

  • Your email address, when you join our list through the "Join" pop-up.
  • A record of your consent: when you signed up, from which page, and that you ticked the box. If you unsubscribe, we also note the date.
  • Basic technical data that every web server handles to deliver the page and keep it secure, such as your IP address. Our hosting provider processes it when you load the site, and Google when you send the form.

We don't ask for anything else, and we don't use analytics or advertising trackers.

3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis

  • To email you about DFC: gifts, meetups, updates and launches. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you give by ticking the box when you join.
  • To keep the site running and secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

We don't make automated decisions or build profiles with your data, and we never sell it.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. After that, we may keep a record of your consent and of your unsubscription only for as long as we need it to show that we followed the law.

5. Who we share it with

Only with the providers that help us run the site and the email list:

  • Email list and emails: Google (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland, and Google LLC, United States). Your email and consent record are stored in Google Sheets, and our emails are sent with Gmail.
  • Hosting and security: Cloudflare, Inc. (United States)

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. When that happens, the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We only share data with public authorities when the law requires it.

6. Your rights

At any time you can:

  • See the data we hold about you.
  • Correct it.
  • Have it deleted.
  • Object to how we use it, or ask us to limit it.
  • Take it with you to another service.
  • Withdraw your consent. This doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

To use any of these rights, email delusionalfoundersclub@gmail.com. You can also unsubscribe with the link at the bottom of every email we send.

If you think we haven't handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at www.aepd.es.

7. Age

Our list isn't meant for children. If you are under 14, please don't sign up.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If the change matters to you, we'll also tell you by email.
